  Day Reflection: September 30, 2024 (13th Day of Teaching Practice) Today marked the 13th day of our teaching practice, and it was an eventful and productive day. We arrived at the school at 9:00 a.m. for our discipline duty, checking students for proper uniform, ID cards, and ribbons. After completing this duty, we signed the attendance register in the HM’s room and prepared for our morning classes. I was assigned to take classes for 6th and 7th standards in the morning session. Today was special as we were scheduled to conduct a session on personal hygiene and cleanliness as part of the "Swachh Bharat Mission", organized by our college NSS Union. DAY 12 OF TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1, 27/9/24, SPORTS DAY

  Day Reflection: September 27, 2024 (12th Day of Teaching Practice) Today was a special day at NRPMHS Kayamkulam as the school celebrated its Sports Day. I arrived at the school by 9:30 a.m., and after signing in, we were assigned various duties to help with the smooth conduct of the event.  Different sports events such as high jump, long jump, relay races, and other competitions were held for various categories of students. My main duty was to collect the names of participating students, organize them into their respective categories and classes, and ensure that their details were passed on to the announcement team. Additionally, I was tasked with overseeing the overall flow of activities and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. It was a day filled with energy, excitement, and teamwork. Day Reflection: September 26, 2024 (11th Day of Teaching Practice) Today marked the 11th day of our teaching practice, and I reached the school at 9:30 a.m. After the morning assembly, we signed the attendance register and received our substitution duties for the day. I was assigned classes for 6th and 7th standards during the morning session. For the 7th standard, I taught a basic science lesson on the chapter "Light." I explained concepts such as luminous and non-luminous objects, along with transparent, translucent, and opaque objects. To enhance understanding, I showed the students some educational videos related to these concepts, which they found engaging and informative. Later, I had another substitution for 7th A during their PT period. Day Reflection: September 25, 2024 (10th Day of Teaching Practice) Today marked the 10th day of our teaching practice. I reached NRPMHS Kayamkulam at 9:30 a.m., and by 10:00 a.m., the morning assembly and prayer had concluded, with students settling into their classes. After signing the attendance register, I checked the substitution schedule and was allotted the first two periods for 8th C. I took this opportunity to continue the lesson I had started the previous day on the topic of "Food Scarcity." I began by reviewing the previous class, and the students were able to recall and respond well, which indicated they had understood the introduction. From there, I moved on to the presentation and activities related to the topic. The students were highly engaged and actively participated in the activities, answering questions and taking notes diligently.  Day Reflection: September 24, 2024 (9th Day of Teaching Practice) On September 24, 2024, which was a Tuesday, I arrived at the school earlier than usual, by 9:00 a.m., as I had discipline duty that morning. My responsibility was to check the students' nails, uniforms, ID cards, and ribbons as they entered the school. After completing this task, I signed in the attendance register at the HM's room and then proceeded to the substitution book to check the classes assigned to me for the day. In the morning session, I had substitution duties for 6th, 7th, and 8th standards. My first official lesson class was scheduled for 8th C, and I was excited to begin. Day Reflection: September 23, 2024 (8th Day of Teaching Practice) After the Onam vacation, we resumed our teaching practice on September 23, 2024. The day began with our arrival at the school at 9:30 a.m., where we promptly signed in the attendance register at the HM's room, marking the official start of the day. The focus of the day was largely on the post-examination tasks, as some teachers were engaged in correcting and distributing the answer sheets of the Onam examination that had taken place before the holidays. Our responsibility was to assist in this process by taking substitution duties for various classes. We were assigned to supervise classes for 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th standards. However, since the teachers were busy distributing answer sheets and discussing the students' performances, we did not get many opportunities to conduct lessons or engage in extensive teaching activities today. On September 13th, NRPMHS. Kayamkulam, celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm and joy. As part of the celebration, all teacher trainees, including myself, were assigned various duties to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. I was given the responsibility of maintaining discipline throughout the day. I arrived at the school by 10:00 a.m. and was welcomed by a vibrant atmosphere. The students and staff were dressed in traditional attire, with many girls wearing Pattu Pavada and boys in Mundu and shirt, reflecting the cultural essence of Onam. The entire school was beautifully decorated, and a stunning Pookalam was created in the school auditorium by the teachers and students, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The celebration included a variety of activities that engaged both students and teachers alike. DAY 1 OF TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1, 5/9/24

Today marked the first day of our School Teaching Practice Phase 1 at NRPMHS, Kayamkulam. We reached the school exactly at 9:30 a.m. Upon arrival, we met with the headmistress, Mrs. Jaysree S L, and presented a small token of appreciation in honor of Teachers' Day. It was a thoughtful way to begin our teaching practice, acknowledging the significance of the day. Afterward, we handed over our attendance register, which will be used to record the presence of all students throughout the teaching practice phase.  I was assigned exam duty for both the morning and afternoon shifts. The first shift took place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Following a brief lunch break, we resumed duties for the second shift, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. During these sessions, we were responsible for invigilation and ensuring that the exams ran smoothly.
