WEEK 7 OF TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1, (DAY 30-32)

 DAY 30, 28/10/2024

Today, on the 30th day of my teaching practice, I arrived at school at 9:00 AM to fulfill my discipline duty responsibilities. After completing the duty, I signed the register and was assigned substitution duties for the fifth and sixth standards.

I managed to arrange two periods for the 8th C class. During these periods, I covered the topics of scientific methods in agriculture and strategies for making agriculture profitable.

The class on making agriculture profitable was particularly engaging, as it involved a brainstorming session with the students. The students actively participated in the discussion, sharing their ideas and insights. I facilitated the discussion, guiding the students towards relevant points and ensuring that everyone had an opportunity to contribute.

After the classes, I signed the register and left the school at 4:30 PM.

DAY 31, 29/10/2024

Today, on the 31st day of my teaching practice, I arrived at school and had a period with the 8th C class. I concluded the first unit and transitioned into the next unit, which focused on classification.

To introduce the concept of classification, I conducted engaging activities that involved the entire class. The students actively participated and enjoyed the process of categorizing objects based on different criteria.

After the lunch break, I continued the discussion on classification. I presented two animals, an elephant and a cat, and asked the students to identify the criteria that could be used to differentiate between them. The students provided insightful answers, demonstrating their understanding of the concept. After the classes, I signed the register and left the school at 4:30 PM.

DAY 32, 30/10/2024

Today, October 30th, marked the 32nd day of my teaching practice. I arrived at school at 9:30 AM and signed the register. I was assigned substitution duties for the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th standards throughout the day.

During the first period, I had a free period. For the second and third periods, I supervised the 5th and 7th standard classes in the absence of their respective teachers. After the lunch break, I continued my substitution duties, teaching the 9th and 6th standards.

As I did not have a scheduled period for the 8th C class, I was unable to teach the planned lesson. Most of the classes were empty due to the sub-district kalolsavam  or art festival's practices. After completion of all the duties, I signed the register and left the school at 4:30 PM.
