DAY 14 OF TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1, 01/10/2024

Today marked the 14th day of my teaching practice. We reached the school at 9:30 a.m., and there was an assembly for all students held on the ground. During the assembly, the students took a pledge on rabies infection precautions, as there have been several stray dogs infected and roaming near the school premises.

After the assembly, I had a class with 8th C, where I covered the topic of "Essential Elements Needed for Plant Growth." I used ICT videos and review charts to make the lesson more engaging, and the students seemed to find the class interesting.

After lunch, I was assigned substitution duties for 6th and 7th standard classes. Later in the afternoon, at 3:00 p.m., there was a PTA meeting for classes 5 to 9. The day concluded with us signing the register and leaving the school premises by 4:00 p.m.
